The Tigers are saying goodbye to their old natural grass playing surface and hello to a brand-new turf field. The old playing surface has been completely removed as work continues on the school’s new artificial turf installation.

Aging bridge replaced on Tanglefoot Trail in Pontotoc County

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) — Good news for folks looking to get outside this summer. A popular section of the Tanglefoot Trail in Pontotoc County is back open. Part of the trail was closed so crews could replace aging bridge decking and handrails to improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians. The closure affected a five-mile stretch of the trail in the county. The improved section reopened on Friday and was available for cycling and recreation beginning Saturday.
