Journalist Ann Meyer covers local news in Wisconsin and Michigan for the EagleHerald newspaper. She previously covered K-12 and higher education in Savannah, Ga., for the Savannah Morning News and business for the Chicago Tribune. As president of media provider L3C Chicago, Meyer’s original media concepts were instrumental in the launch of Retail Leader magazine, website and e-newsletter and SmallBizChicago.com, forerunner of Chicago Tribune’s Blue Sky Innovation. She is a graduate of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, where she edited the award-winning journalism review and worked for Pioneer Press. She holds first-place national honors in journalism. She also has a master’s degree with distinction from North Park University’s School of Business and Nonprofit Management and holds lifetime honors in business and nonprofit academics.
