(WRDW/WAGT) - Seven years after 22-year-old Marcellus Flores was shot and killed outside his home, his mother is still searching for answers and working to keep his story from being forgotten. Hope Ciccio said she continues to look through photos and memories of her son, including one picture she recently found on his phone. “It says, ‘Who’s going to ride for me when my time is up?’ It broke my heart when I seen that picture,” Ciccio said.

Shelton Sanders vanished on June 19, 2001, just months before graduation. His body has never been found, but his family says their search is far from over. Now, they’re increasing the reward to $150,000 in hopes someone finally comes forward. “Shelton is more than just a missing person,” said Wilveria Sanders, Shelton’s sister.

Last Seen: Family of missing Aiken County mother speaks after remains confirmed

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Nearly four years after a young mother vanished from Aiken County, her family received the answer they never wanted. Investigators discovered human remains buried in a remote area of Barnwell County last month. DNA testing confirmed this month that those remains belonged to 30-year-old Krystal Anderson, a mother of four. “It’s been a nightmare,” said Shadira Smothers, Anderson’s sister.
