Welcome to our weekend conversation! My grandmother was a painter. She had an attic in her home where she spent nearly all her free time drawing, sketching and painting. The room was full of canvases, some blank, others with two different paintings on the front and back. There were also art books, brushes, paints, easels, plastic fruit for still lifes and stacks of magazines with pictures of landscapes and people she used as models.
