DELTONA, Fla. — The Deltona City Commission unanimously approved an increase in impact fees Monday for new single- and multi-family residential developments. It’s a move that city leaders hope will help address the additional costs connected to an additional 3,033 new residential units and 3.24 million square feet of non-residential development expected to be built in the coming years. The increase, which will be phased in over the next two years, will apply to new developments and homes.
