Brian Abel’s Biography
Brian is an emmy-nominated reporter who joined Detroit's ABC affiliate WXYZ in June of 2017.
Previously, Brian served as a reporter at KSHB in Kansas City,
primary anchor for WDAZ in Grand Forks, ND, and MMJ and weekend anchor at WDAY in Fargo, ND.
Brian was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University.
