A gatekeeper. A check & balance. A documenter of history.
Why did you become a journalist?
because I believe it can be one of the most admirable and important professions of the world.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Opening of a state-of-the-art rifle range in West Fargo. Impact on community = small, but first full MMJ story as good as having a Pho-Jo.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Push through. When on job, it might not always go way you want, but you need to get A story. When job searching, someone will say yes.
