Hey, y'all! I am a South Carolina-based journalist whose priorities are in providing a platform for marginalized voices to be heard.

I am currently the editor-in-chief of The Johnsonian, a 98-year-old student newspaper at Winthrop University. I am on track to receive my undergraduate degree in English from Winthrop in May 2022. I excel in my studies and I am proud to hold a 3.8 GPA and be a part of the Honors College.

Lexington Police Department said Monday evening that the search for 39-year-old missing woman Elena Katherine Moore in wooded areas was "not a recovery operation, but rather a precise effort to rule out one less place Ms. Moore could be." Monday's search covered wooded areas along Caughman Farm Lane, behind the Lowe's Home Improvement store and the Planet Fitness gym on Whiteford Way that Moore is said to frequent. No trace of her has been found.

The search is ongoing for a woman last seen in Lexington then reported missing late last week. Elena Katherine Moore, 39, was originally reported to have last been seen at a CVS on Sunset Boulevard, but police released today that her last known whereabouts were actually at a Planet Fitness in Lexington on Thursday, June 11. She was reported missing on Friday, June 12. "According to the complainant, Ms. Moore often frequents Planet Fitness, located at 560 Whiteford Way.

Posted Tuesday, June 9, 2026 3:16 pm The 2026 Lexington’s Best event welcomed over 200 Lexington County professionals and many of their loved ones to the Southern Oaks venue in Gilbert on Thursday, June 4. Anna Cline Catering, Xpress Events & Catering, American Floral, Heart of Ice Sculptures, Splash Omnimedia, Total Wine & More and DJ Stingray made the event a success with food and drinks staff, flowers, the grand ice sculpture, logoed cups, drinks, music and sound, respectively.
