Hit. Hit. Hit. From the moment the curtain went up, the audience were treated to a pleather of comedy, music, and sheer theatrical brilliance. It’s one of those rare productions that keeps you laughing throughout, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I left a theatre with such a big smile on my face.

Review: Waitress - A slice of perfect theatre pie!

Photo Credit: Johan Persson The story follows Jenna, a waitress with a gift of pie making at a diner but finds herself stuck between unplanned pregnancy and a husband she despises. Although that can be read as a sad story but far from it and in fact, it is one of the most enjoyable narratives I’ve ever seen. Everything in this show had that rustic American charm to it, and it was pitched at the perfect level.
