Breaking Defense Barriers: A Self-Assembled Nanocascade Potentiating Triphasic Sono-Immunotherapy for MDR Bacterial Infections
1 Introduction The rapid global dissemination of multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacterial infections has escalated into a critical public health crisis [1]. These pathogens underlie a wide spectrum of debilitating conditions, ranging from device-associated infections (e.g., catheter-, implant-, and ventilator-related) to chronic, tissue-invasive diseases such as pneumonia, osteomyelitis and endocarditis [2].
TNFAIP1 promotes macrophage lipid accumulation and accelerates the development of atherosclerosis through the LEENE/FoxO1/ABCA1 pathway
Macrophage lipid accumulation is a critical contributor to foam cell formation and atherosclerosis. Tumor necrosis factor-α-induced protein 1 (TNFAIP1) is closely associated with cardiovascular disease. However, its role and molecular mechanisms in atherogenesis remain unclear. TNFAIP1 was knocked down in THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells and apolipoprotein-deficient (apoE−/−) mice using lentiviral vector.

Case Report: Nephrotic syndrome caused by mercury poisoning due to freckle-removing cream
1 Introduction As a toxic heavy metal, mercury silently exists in human daily life and work. Prolonged or high levels of mercury exposure can cause mercury poisoning. Common sources of mercury exposure include occupational settings, broken thermometers, mercury-containing folk remedies, and cosmetics (1). When mercury accumulates in the human body, it can cause damage to various systems, including the skin, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, and neuromuscular system (2).
Skin-like drift-free biosensors with stretchable diode-connected organic field-effect transistors - Nature Electronics
Abstract Biosensors based on organic field-effect transistors can offer mechanical flexibility, stretchability and operational stability for conformal on-skin monitoring. However, bending, stretching, moisture and temperature changes can lead to signal artefacts and drifts. Here we report skin-like drift-free biosensors based on stretchable diode-connected organic field-effect transistors.
High-density soft bioelectronic fibres for multimodal sensing and stimulation - Nature
Abstract There is an increasing demand for multimodal sensing and stimulation bioelectronic fibres for both research and clinical applications1,2. However, existing fibres suffer from high rigidity, low component layout precision, limited functionality and low density of active components.
Quantitative Longitudinal Mapping of Radiation-Treated Prostate Cancer Using Mr Fingerprinting With Radial Acquisition and Subspace Reconstruction
Abstract MR fingerprinting (MRF) enables fast multiparametric quantitative imaging with a single acquisition and has been shown to improve diagnosis of prostate cancer. However, most prostate MRF studies were performed with spiral acquisitions that are sensitive to B0 inhomogeneities and consequent blurring. In this work, a radial MRF acquisition with a novel subspace reconstruction technique was developed to enable fast T1/T2 mapping in the prostate in under 4 min.
4D Lung MRI With High-Isotropic-Resolution Using Half-Spoke (Ute) and Full-Spoke 3D Radial Acquisition and Temporal Compressed Sensing Reconstruction
To develop a respiratory motion-resolved 4D MRI technique with high-isotropic-resolution (1.1 mm) using 3D radial sampling, camera-based respiratory motion sensing, and temporal compressed sensing reconstruction for lung cancer imaging. Free-breathing half- and full-spoke 3D golden-angle radial acquisitions were performed on eight healthy volunteers and eight patients with lung tumors of varying size.

Efficient Heterogeneous Formation of Ammonium Nitrate on the Saline Mineral Particle Surface in the Atmosphere of East Asia during Dust Storm Periods
To understand the chemical evolution of dust in the current East Asian atmosphere, the chemistry of PM2.5 and size-resolved aerosols in Shanghai, China, during the 2019 dust storm event was investigated. Our results showed that concentrations of SO42– in the city during the event highly correlated with Ca2+ and Na+ due to the direct emissions of CaSO4 and Na2SO4 from the upwind deserts.

The double influence mechanisms of pH to the arsenic removal by nano zero valent iron: electrostatic interactions and the corrosion of Fe0
The pH has a significant impact on the arsenic (As) removal by nano zero valent iron (nZVI). However, most studies consider the influence mechanisms just from the aspect of electrostatic interactions. In this work, based on the different As(V) adsorption capacity of nZVI and zero valent iron (ZVI) after normalized by specific surface area, we deeply analyzes the comprehensive mechanisms of arsenic adsorption by nZVI at varied pH.
