BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - TODAY: Happy Saturday afternoon friends! It’s been a hot and mostly sunny start to the weekend, with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s and lower 90s before lunchtime. With the higher afternoon humidity, it’s felt closer to 100 degrees in many spots. We’ve seen a few spotty showers and storms throughout the afternoon, but they have been on the short-lived side. As we head through the afternoon and evening, we’ll be watching a weak front slowly drop south into Alabama.
