Hillary Clinton was not a 'birther'
As part of a partnership with FactCheck.org, CNN examines the lack of evidence to Donald Trump's claim that Hillary Clinton started the "birther" movement against Barack Obama in 2008. As FactCheck.org reported before, there's no proof Clinton had anything to do with the claims that Obama wasn't born in the United States and thus was ineligible to be president. But while Trump's specific claim against Hillary Clinton is not true, her supporters' hands are not entirely clean.

Brooklyn high school produced Bernie Sanders, other stars
James Madison High School produced some of the biggest names in politics, like Sen. Chuck Schumer and celebrities such as Judge Judy. So why do so many notable people come out of this school? "It must be in the water," said principal Jodie Cohen, who attended James Madison herself and came back to teach English. Another reason? The sense of community, Cohen said. James Madison is a zoned high school, which draws from children growing up in the same neighborhood.
For the Kinsey Sicks, politics is no drag
There are four singing drag queens hoping to win the hearts of the American people and change the conversation around politics in 2016. They are the Kinsey Sicks, "America's favorite dragapella beautyshop quartet." The San Francisco-based group is currently touring the country with their political satire show, "Electile Dysfunction 2016." The act centers on the premise that the quartet (consisting of four Republicans with competing ideologies) is running for the GOP presidential nomination.

Has Bernie Sanders released his full tax returns?
As part of a partnership with FactCheck.org, CNN's Jake Tapper examines a Bernie Sanders claim made about his own transparency and his federal tax returns during a recent "State of the Union" appearance on CNN. When asked about releasing his "full" federal tax returns, Sen. Bernie Sanders insisted that "we have released them in the past." But Sanders has released only his 1040 form, a two-page summary of his federal returns, not his full returns.
Bernie Sanders has been saying similar things on CNN for years
Show transcripts from 1998 to 2014 show he's been remarkably consistent. Much of Sanders' language could be taken straight out his 2016 stump speech. Though on some issues, such as health care, foreign policy, and the VA scandal, his views have shifted slightly in the midst of his run for the highest office in the land. One key change has been on the Affordable Care Act.
Wolf Blitzer reflects on covering the Gulf War - CNNPolitics
Washington (CNN) Just weeks after Wolf Blitzer started at CNN on May 8, 1990, he embarked on the assignment that would make CNN -- and him -- a household name around the world. "I thought it was going to be a relatively quiet beat. The Cold War was winding down," said Blitzer, who was the military affairs correspondent at the time. And then on August 1, 1990, Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein shocked the world by invading Kuwait.

New Hampshire restaurants offer recipe for success to candidates
You can't go to a diner in New Hampshire before the primary without the possibility of running into a candidate. They're everywhere and they want your vote. We asked those who know these restaurants best to offer advice to candidates in their final visits to these popular eateries. MaryAnn's Diner in Derry is a 1950s-style restaurant, which offers candidates a unique opportunity to scoot around Cadillac paraphernalia and poodle skirts as they attempt to shake patrons' hands.
New Hampshire: The state where anyone can become a state representative
The 400-member New Hampshire House of Representatives is the third largest governmental body in the English-speaking world, after the U.K. House of Commons, at 650 members, and the U.S. House of Representatives, which has 435 seats. Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie has joked on the campaign trail that he routinely runs into three or four former state representatives.
This man has met every New Hampshire candidate since 1988 (almost)
He doesn't have a single selfie to prove it but Bruce Schoenfeld says he has met -- or shaken hands with -- all of the presidential candidates traveling through New Hampshire since 1988. Well, almost all; Schoenfeld is three handshakes short this year. "Traditionally how do you meet someone? You shake their hand," said Schoenfeld, a Boulder, Colorado resident, who says you can tell a lot about a person from their eye contact.
Watch what happens when people react to the election's most notable moments

Merrimack, New Hampshire (CNN) Norman Boudreau, a 72-year-old retired policeman, is sitting at The D.W. Diner pondering his options for the Republican nominee -- he likes Donald Trump for his verve, but he also thinks that Marco Rubio better says what Trump is actually thinking. "He's right in what he's saying, he just doesn't know how to say it," Boudreau says of Trump.

Some Florida Jewish voters sour on Hillary Clinton
