How does urban space shape individual’s self-presentation during city walk: a new interpretation from dramaturgical theory
ABSTRACT As an emerging tourism and leisure practice increasingly favoured by youth, city walk uniquely facilitates self-presentation through urban engagement. While substantial knowledge has been accumulated regarding the experiences and behaviours of city walkers, the key mechanism of how they perform and express their identities remains unresolved.
Effects of repeated-sprint training on intermittent aerobic endurance, anaerobic performance, and repeated-sprint ability in female collegiate basketball players
Abstract Objective: This study examined the effects of a 6-week repeated-sprint training (RST) intervention on intermittent aerobic endurance, anaerobic power, and repeated-sprint ability (RSA) in female collegiate basketball players compared with duration-matched continuous running.
The Riemann Hypothesis manifested in dynamical quantum phase transitions
Abstract The Riemann Hypothesis (RH), one of the most profound unsolved problems in mathematics, concerns the nontrivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. Linking these zeros to physical phenomena offers new perspectives on their origin and verification.
Multiparticle entanglement of nuclear spins in silicon
Abstract Silicon spin qubits offer high-fidelity control and semiconductor manufacturing compatibility. However, the systematic generation and characterization of multiparticle entanglement, a core resource for quantum information science, remain elusive in such systems. Here, we demonstrate the complete preparation of all nine canonical families of four-qubit entanglement between donor spins in silicon, by designing hardware-efficient quantum circuits that use native multi-qubit operations.

Research progress and development strategies of antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates
Abstract Antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates (AOCs) effectively integrate the delivery capability of antibodies with the specific gene regulatory function of oligonucleotides, offering a novel strategy for extrahepatic delivery. Unlike antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), AOCs employ nucleic acid payloads, enabling specific gene modulation with reduced off-target effects, thus providing new avenues for treating genetic disorders.
Serum creatinine to cystatin C ratio and risk of incident digestive diseases in middle-aged and older adults: a prospective national cohort study
Abstract Evidence regarding the association between the serum creatinine–to–cystatin C ratio (CCR) and digestive disease risk remains limited. This study examined whether CCR is associated with incident digestive diseases among middle-aged and older adults in China. This prospective cohort study included 5,234 participants from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS). CCR was calculated as serum creatinine divided by cystatin C.
Intravital calcium imaging of meningeal macrophages reveals niche-specific dynamics and aberrant responses to brain hyperexcitability
eLife Assessment This study provides important insights into how immune cells in the brain's protective layers behave under normal and disease-like conditions, revealing location-specific activity patterns that may shape inflammation and disorders such as migraine. The evidence is compelling and supported by advanced imaging approaches and rigorous analyses, although some conceptual and interpretational limitations temper the mechanistic depth.
Clinical characteristics and epidemiological analysis of 23 cases of tick-borne rickettsiosis in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region
Abstract Background: Previously, at least ten spotted fever group Rickettsia (SFGR) species were detected in wildlife and hard ticks in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR, northwestern China), whereas human infection remains scarcely studied. Methods: During April 2017 - May 2025, the blood samples of 70 tick-bitten patients in XUAR were collected.
Assembly and gating mechanism of native AMPA receptors from the cerebellum
Abstract AMPA receptors (AMPARs) mediate the majority of fast excitatory synaptic transmission throughout the central nervous system. Calcium-permeable AMPARs and GluA4-containing receptors are critical for cerebellar functions, such as motor learning, associative memory, auditory processing, and synaptic plasticity.

CASE REPORT article Volume 16 - 2025 | https://doi.org/10.3389/fimmu.2025.1695579 1 Introduction Brucellosis, a zoonotic infectious disease, is caused by the bacterium Brucella. Human infection with brucellosis primarily arises from exposure to cattle, sheep, dairy products, and excreta contaminated with Brucella (1). In livestock farms, cats and dogs can play a pivotal role in the dissemination and prevalence of brucellosis, serving as potential vectors and asymptomatic carriers (2).

The neurotrophic factor artemin and its receptor GFRα3 mediate migraine-like pain via the ion channel TRPM8
Abstract Background: Migraine has a strong genetic foundation, including both monogenic and polygenic types. The former are rare, with most migraine considered polygenic, supported by genome-wide association studies (GWAS) identifying numerous genetic variants associated with migraine risk. Surprisingly, some of the most common mutations are associated with TRPM8, a non-selective cation channel that is the primary sensor of cold temperatures in primary afferent neurons of the somatosensory system.
