The key m6A methylation regulator IGF2BP1 possesses potential prognostic value in papillary thyroid carcinoma
Abstract Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) poses a risk of recurrence, and the efficacy of existing treatments is limited. Consequently, there is an urgent need to identify new prognostic markers and potential therapeutic targets. N6-methyladenosine (m6A) mRNA methylation is involved in tumorigenesis and progression, yet the role of m6A RNA methylation regulators in PTC remains unclear. The Cancer Genome Atlas database was utilized to analyze 17 m6A regulators in PTC.

Self‐Assembled Metal‐Polyphenol Colchicine Nanoparticles Targeting Oxidative Stress and Inflammation for Treatment of Atherosclerosis
Anti-inflammatory colchicine therapy has emerged as a new era for atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases. However, the therapeutic benefit of colchicine has not been clearly defined. Herein, we present a double coordination-driven approach to fabricate a stable metal-organic nano-assembly of colchicine (COL-TA-Zn) by uniting the tropolone ring of colchicine (COL), phenolic groups of tannic acid (TA), and Zn2+ ions.
Ring Formation in Sesquiterpene Synthesis: Biomimetic vs. Non‐Biomimetic Strategies
1 Introduction Sesquiterpenes are a widely occurring and well-studied class of natural products comprising more than 300 skeletal types found in plants, marine organisms, microbes and fungi [1]. These metabolites display a very broad range of biological properties and find numerous applications in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, flavour and fragrance sectors [2, 3]. Remarkably, these substances are all derived from a single intermediate, farnesyl pyrophosphate (FPP, 1) (Figure 1) [4-7].
Application of key link nursing based on feedforward control theory in the emergency rescue of multiple trauma patients
1 Introduction Traumatic injuries represent a formidable global public health challenge, causing approximately 4.4 million deaths worldwide in 2019 and accounting for nearly 8% of all deaths (1). This burden is disproportionately borne by low- and middle-income countries, where mortality rates are substantially higher (2). The leading etiologies globally include road traffic injuries, falls, and interpersonal violence (3).

Passive non-line-of-sight imaging at 10 meters
Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) imaging seeks to reconstruct scenes obscured from the direct line of sight by capturing indirect light encoded on an intermediate visible surface. Unlike active approaches that rely on expensive and dedicated systems, passive methods utilize only a low-cost digital camera to record the light signal encoded on visible surface.

A Feature Extraction Method of Ship Underwater Noise Using Enhanced Peak Cross-Correlation Empirical Mode Decomposition Method and Multi-Scale Permutation Entropy
1. Introduction The ship noise signal contains many ship characteristic parameters and is an important index for measuring ship performance [1]. Ship noise is the signal source for passive sonar to detect, track, identify, and locate the target. Therefore, denoising and feature extraction of the ship noise signal are the key technologies of ship target recognition.
Ion-Conductive Crystals of Poly (vinylidene fluoride) Enables Fast Charging Solid-State Lithium Metal Batteries
Ion-Conductive Crystals of Poly (vinylidene fluoride) Enables Fast Charging Solid-State Lithium Metal Batteries The crystalline phases of solid-state polymer electrolytes (SPEs) are commonly believed as ionic insulators. Here we show that contrary to this prevailing view, lithium-ion (Li+) can transport in crystalline phases of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) after incorporating dipolar defects into crystals.

Reversible Snapping of Constrained Anisotropic Hydrogels Upon Light Stimulations
1 Introduction Nature provides numerous inspirations to devise artificial soft actuators and robots.[1] By combining the responsiveness of soft materials and elaborate structural designs, various soft actuators and robots have been developed with diverse morphing and motion modes.[1, 2] Among different morphing-related geometries, the bistable structure has attracted tremendous attention because it possesses two stable configurations at a constant condition, which can be switched via...
Characteristics of Low-Temperature Gasification Products from Wheat Straw in a Fluidized Bed Based on Cement Production Process
1. Introduction In recent years, spurred by rapid economic development, nations have embarked on a new phase of industrialization. Simultaneously, the escalating release of greenhouse gases (GHGs), primarily CO2, has given rise to frequent climate-related hazards, including global temperature elevation, extreme precipitation events, and glacier melting.

A Paleo-Changjiang Delta Complex on the East China Sea Shelf Formed Some 30 ka Ago (at the MIS 3 Stage)
1. Introduction The distribution of deltaic deposits is influenced by the rate and magnitude of relative sea-level change [1]. During the Quaternary, the climate fluctuated frequently and sea level changed greatly many times, which led to the frequent alternation of sea and land environment on the continental shelf, and the paleodeltas deposited in different periods may be preserved on the shelf [1,2].

Prediction Method for RUL of Underwater Self-Enhancement Structure: Subsea Christmas Tree High-Pressure Valve Actuator as a Case Study
Abstract : Underwater pressure-bearing structures are produced in practice by means of pressure self-enhancement methods in order to improve the stress distribution and enhance the pressure-bearing performance. On the other hand, the pairs equation shows that stress is an important factor influencing the degradation of the structure. In fact, improving the stress distribution will not only improve the pressure-bearing performance, but will have an impact on the life degradation trend.
Long-range photon-efficient 3D imaging without range ambiguity
Abstract Single-photon light detection and ranging (LiDAR) has broad applications ranging from remote sensing to target recognition. In most cases, however, the repetition period of the pulsed laser limits the maximum distance that can be unambiguously determined. The relative distances are normally obtained using a depth map.

Trends in Late Mortality and Life Expectancy After Autologous Blood or Marrow Transplantation Over Three Decades: A BMTSS Report
Abstract We determined trends in life expectancy and cause-specific late mortality after autologous blood or marrow transplantation (BMT) performed over a 30-year period, using the BMT Survivor Study. We constructed a cohort of 4,702 individuals with hematologic neoplasms who lived ≥ 2 years after autologous BMT performed between 1981 and 2014 at three transplant centers. The end of follow-up was April 19, 2021.

Cumulative Incidence of Hypertension by 55 Years of Age in Blacks and Whites: The CARDIA Study
Methods and Results We calculated the cumulative incidence of hypertension from age 18 to 55 years among participants in the CARDIA (Coronary Artery Risk Development in Young Adults) study. Incident hypertension was defined by the first visit with mean systolic blood pressure ≥130 mm Hg, mean diastolic blood pressure ≥80 mm Hg, or self‐reported use of antihypertensive medication.
A Two-Dimensional Biodegradable Niobium Carbide (MXene) for Photothermal Tumor Eradication in NIR-I and NIR-II Biowindows
Conventionally, ceramics-based materials, fabricated by high-temperature solid-phase reaction and sintering, are preferred as bone scaffolds in hard-tissue engineering because of their tunable biocompatibility and mechanical properties. However, their possible biomedical applications have rarely been considered, especially the cancer phototherapeutic applications in both the first and second near-infrared light (NIR-I and NIR-II) biowindows.
