YTHDF1 modulates CAP1-mediated actin turnover to regulate synaptic function and anxiodepressive-like behaviors
Abstract Neuroplasticity and synaptic dysfunction are central to the pathophysiology of depression, yet their underlying mechanisms remain not fully understood. Here, we identify the m6A reader protein YTHDF1 as a key regulator of depression pathogenesis. Mice with genetic deletion of Ythdf1 exhibited anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) hyperactivity, hyperalgesia, heightened social stress sensitivity, and anxiodepressive-like behaviors following acute social stress.

Association between the CCR2-V64I polymorphism and cancer susceptibility: a meta-analysis of 20 case-control studies
Abstract According to previous studies, the CCR2-V64I polymorphism has been associated with susceptibility to various cancers, yet this relationship remains controversial. To systematically evaluate this association, we conducted a meta-analysis to summarize and validate the available evidence. We comprehensively searched the PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases and ultimately included 20 case–control studies based on relevance and quality, comprising 4438 cases and 4874 controls.
TLN1 interacts with NGFR and suppresses the development of castration-resistant prostate cancer by upregulating NGFR
Abstract Background: Prostate cancer (PCa) is a common malignant tumor in males, and castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) represents an advanced stage with limited treatment options and poor prognosis. Talin-1 (TLN1) is a cytoskeletal protein implicated in tumor progression, but its specific role and mechanism in CRPC remain unclear. Methods: Mass spectrometry (MS) was used to analyze serum peptides from patients with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (HSPC) and CRPC.
Association between hemoglobin and all-cause mortality in patients with obstructive sleep apnea and hypertension: insights from an observational study
Abstract Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a widespread disorder impacting more than one billion individuals globally. Hypertension, a frequent cardiovascular comorbidity associated with OSA, can exacerbate and advance the condition. Recent research has identified a synergistic effect between anemia and OSA concerning the development of hypertension.
The role of red blood cell distribution width in prognosis prediction among critically ill patients with obstructive sleep apnea: Insights from the MIMIC-IV database | Scientific Reports

This study aimed to investigate the association between red blood cell distribution width (RDW) at admission and one-year mortality in critically ill OSA patients. A retrospective cohort study involving 1950 critically ill patients with OSA from the MIMIC-IV (v3.1) database.
Miltirone promotes pyroptosis via increasing pyroptosis-related protein NLRP3 and AIM2 in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma
Abstract Background: Pyroptosis, a type of programmed cell death, exerts direct influence on inflammatory processes and immune response. A previous study suggests that miltirone exhibits notable anti-tumor activities and has been shown to induce tumor cell pyroptosis. Nevertheless, the therapeutic value of miltirone in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC) remains underexplored.

Tropomyosin 3 Gene Fusions in Cancers: From Mechanisms to Treatments-A Comprehensive Review
1 Introduction Gene fusions constitute pivotal genomic alterations resulting from chromosomal rearrangements, which lead to the formation of hybrid genes [1]. These hybrid genes encode fusion proteins capable of disrupting normal cellular processes and contributing to oncogenesis. Of particular interest, tropomyosin 3 (TPM3) gene fusions have been identified as significant contributors to tumorigenesis.
Formation control for multiple unmanned surface vessels with prescribed performance and model uncertainty
ABSTRACT This work investigates the formation control of multiple unmanned surface vessels (USVs) in the presence of model uncertainty and input saturation, where the separation requirements must comply with the constraints of prescribed performance. First, a novel fixed-time formation error constraint method is designed. This method strictly constrains the error between the desired and actual distances between the leader and the follower USVs within a prescribed range.
