AI-Physics-Experiment Trinity for Integrated Protein Dynamics Modeling
1 Introduction Proteins are the central executors of biological processes. A fundamental paradigm in modern protein biology is the recognition that proteins exist as conformational ensembles rather than a single “static” structure [1-3]. Nearly all protein-mediated processes, spanning enzyme catalysis, ligand binding, signal transduction to molecular transport, rely on transitions between conformational states, each displaying intra-state motions [4].

Piezoelectric Biointerfaces for Tendon Regeneration: Mechanisms, Materials, and Therapeutic Strategies
Tendon injuries remain clinically challenging due to slow healing, fibrotic scarring, and limited functional recovery. Recent studies have revealed that native tendons possess intrinsic piezoelectric properties, suggesting that electrical cues play an important role in their regenerative processes. Building on this physiological insight, piezoelectric materials have emerged as promising candidates for self-powered and localized stimulation of tendon healing.

A simulation-based sample size estimation for interrupted time-series studies with count outcome
Abstract Interrupted time series (ITS) analyses have been widely used to evaluate public health interventions. However, there is a lack of appropriate methods for sample size estimation in ITS studies with count outcomes, whether or not autocorrelation is present. We conducted a simulation-based study to comprehensively explore the impacts of intervention patterns, pre-intervention levels and trends, and intervention effect sizes on sample size determination.

MSC-Derived Extracellular Vesicles: Roles and Molecular Mechanisms for Tissue Repair
Abstract Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are pluripotent stem cells that have great potential in the field of regenerative medicine. Extracellular vesicles that derived from MSCs inherit the bioactive molecules, including lipids, proteins, nucleic acids, from the donate cells. With similar biological functions as MSCs, MSC-EVs show lower toxicity, better biocompatibility, stability, and less immune rejection.
Early versus late pancreatic stent placement for preventing post-ERCP pancreatitis: protocol of a multicenter randomized clinical trial - Trials
The EVL trial is a multicenter, single-blind, randomized, and controlled trial projected to assess whether EPSP is a superior strategy in preventing PEP. Patients undergoing pancreatic guidewire-assisted technique are randomized into EPSP and LPSP groups. This clinical trial is principally being conducted by the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, with the participation of five other high-volume centers in China (Table 1).
Contribution of the Northeast China Cold Vortex to the Persistent Extreme Precipitation Events over the Yangtze-Huaihe River Basin
Keywords: Atmospheric circulation; Blocking; Cutoff lows; Extreme events; Precipitation; Water vapor 1. Introduction According to the Clausius–Clapeyron equation, the saturated water vapor pressure in the atmosphere will increase by about 7% for each degree of global warming (Trenberth et al. 2003), which has further aggravated the intensity and frequency of extreme precipitation events.
Molecular basis for the regulation of human phosphorylase kinase by phosphorylation and Ca2+ - Nature Communications
Abstract Phosphorylase kinase (PhK) regulates the degradation of glycogen by integrating diverse signals, providing energy to the organism. Dysfunctional mutations may directly lead to Glycogen Storage Disease type IX (GSD IX), whereas the abnormal expression of PhK is also associated with tumors. Here, we use cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) to resolve its near-atomic structures in the inactive and active states.

Hi-C guided many-polymer model to decipher 3D genome organization
We propose a Hi-C data-based many-polymer model which allows us to generate an ensemble of multi-scale genome structures. We demonstrate the efficacy of our model by validating the generated structures against experimental measurements and employ them to address key questions regarding genome organization. Our model first confirms a significant correlation between the chromosome size and the nuclear positioning.

Summer Onset in Northern East Asia: Feature, Mechanism and Variability
Abstract : Summer in the East Asian monsoon region is characterized by heavy rainfall and high temperature. Its onset, depicted by monsoon rainfall and/or airflow as well as surface air temperature, has been well documented. However, the onset of summer season is rarely addressed in northern East Asia (NEA) around the northern edge of the East Asian summer monsoon.
Treatment-related adverse events associated with HER2-Targeted antibody-drug conjugates in clinical trials: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Summary Background Given the increasing use of HER2-targeted antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) worldwide, the summary of toxicity incidence and profiles of these drugs is crucial to provide reference for clinical application. This meta-analysis aimed to estimate the mean incidences of treatment-related adverse events of HER2-targeted ADCs and to investigate the differences between different drugs and cancer types.

S-type fiber surface plasmon resonance strain sensor
Abstract The fiber surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is widely used in high-sensitivity refractive index detection, and there are few reports on SPR sensors used for strain measurement. In this paper, we propose and demonstrate an S-type fiber strain sensor based on SPR.
Single-mode fiber curvature sensor based on SPR
Abstract A fiber surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is widely used in high-sensitivity refractive index measurement, but there is less research on curvature measurement. In this paper, a single-mode fiber curvature sensor based on SPR is designed and fabricated. By employing bending, the transmitted light in the fiber core leaks into the cladding. A 50 nm gold film is coated outside the cladding, and the evanescent field of the cladding after bending contacts the gold film to cause SPR.
Tapered Yb-doped fiber enabled a 4 kW near-single-mode monolithic fiber amplifier
Abstract In this Letter, we demonstrate a monolithic high-power master oscillator power amplifier by using a home-made double-clad tapered Yb-doped fiber (T-YDF) with an input end of ∼20/400 µm and an output end of ∼30/600 µm. Thanks to perfect core/cladding matching with the fiber components at both ends of the T-YDF, the laser is pumped bidirectionally and an output power of over 4 kW with a high slope efficiency of 84.1% and excellent beam quality M2 ∼ 1.46 is achieved.
World's smallest single-chip system can be injected into the body
The continuing miniaturization of electronics is opening up some exciting possibilities when it comes to what we might place in our bodies to monitor and improve our health. Engineers at Columbia University have demonstrated an extreme version of this technology, developing the smallest single-chip system ever created, which could be implanted with a hypodermic needle to measure temperature inside the body, and possibly much more.
Application of a sub-0.1-mm3 implantable mote for in vivo real-time wireless temperature sensing
Abstract There has been increasing interest in wireless, miniaturized implantable medical devices for in vivo and in situ physiological monitoring. Here, we present such an implant that uses a conventional ultrasound imager for wireless powering and data communication and acts as a probe for real-time temperature sensing, including the monitoring of body temperature and temperature changes resulting from therapeutic application of ultrasound.
