Satellite identification and attitude measurement using a multi-reflector laser ranging beacon
Abstract Passive identification and attitude measurement of spacecraft are key challenges in space traffic management. Satellite laser ranging offers high accuracy, and using corner cube reflectors as passive beacons brings the benefits of light weight and long lifetime. Based on a specific L-shaped reflector layout and standard satellite laser ranging, we propose a satellite-ground method for simultaneous identification and attitude measurement.
Adipocyte-derived β-hydroxybutyrate confers metabolic resilience in multiple myeloma
Abstract Multiple myeloma (MM) remains an incurable blood cancer. Obesity is a known risk factor, but how adipocytes promote MM progression is not fully understood. Here, we uncover a metabolic crosstalk between adipocytes and MM cells that promotes MM cell survival under glucose deprivation. We show that glucose restriction activates AMPK, disrupting HSP90-IRF4 binding and rendering IRF4 susceptible to TRIM21-mediated proteasomal degradation.

ctDNA- and cfDNA-based liquid biopsy in bladder cancer and urothelial carcinoma: bibliometric mapping and cross-database coverage analysis, 2008-2025
Abstract Background: Circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA), cell-free DNA (cfDNA) and urinary tumour DNA are increasingly studied in bladder cancer and urothelial carcinoma. We mapped the development, knowledge structure and clinical emphasis of this ctDNA/cfDNA-centred literature and assessed its coverage across three bibliographic databases. Methods: Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), Scopus and PubMed/MEDLINE were searched on July 31, 2026, for records published in 2008-2025.
Development and validation of a clinical-radiomics nomogram for differentiating Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia from bacterial pneumonia in children
Abstract Objective: In this case-control study, we developed a nomogram merging computed tomography (CT)-based radiomics, clinical indicators, and CT imaging findings for differentiating Mycoplasma pneumoniae Pneumonia (MPP) from bacterial pneumonia (BP) in children. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical and CT imaging data from 585 pediatric pneumonia patients, including 249 with MPP and 336 with BP. Patients were randomly allocated to training (70%) and validation (30%) groups.

Cryo-EM structures of heteromeric Kir4.1/5.1 channel suggest mechanisms of inward rectification and channel blockage
Abstract Inwardly rectifying potassium (Kir) channels play key roles in regulating membrane potential and potassium transport through voltage-dependent inhibition by cytoplasmic Mg²⁺ and polyamines. Despite decades of extensive studies, the structural basis for polyamine-mediated inward rectification remains unclear.
Pharmacological targeting of IRF4 as a therapeutic strategy for multiple myeloma
|
Abstract Interferon regulatory factor 4 (IRF4) is an oncogenic transcription factor (TF) in several hematological malignancies. To date, no pharmacological agents have been developed specifically for IRF4 due to the challenging nature of targeting TFs. Here we first identified (S)-H1, a binder of IRF4, by targeting the SPI1−IRF4 interaction on IRF4’s interferon association domain via high-throughput screening.

Structural basis of G6P/Pi transport and inhibition in SLC37A4 - Nature Structural & Molecular Biology
Abstract Glycogen storage disease type Ib (GSD-Ib), caused by loss-of-function mutations in the endoplasmic reticulum transporter SLC37A4, disrupts glucose homeostasis through impaired glucose-6-phosphate (G6P)/phosphate (Pi) antiport. Despite its central role in glycogen metabolism and immune regulation, the structural mechanisms governing SLC37A4’s transport cycle and pathological dysfunction remain elusive.

Twist is the key to the gating of mechanosensitive ion channel NOMPC
Motivated by the above net-FDA results, we aimed to separate the contributions of the membrane-normal and membrane-parallel force components to the gating process and pinpoint whether one or both of these components played an indispensable role in gating. To achieve this, we needed to determine the point of application, the magnitude, and the direction of the exerted mechanical force.

Dynamic TOM–TIM23 supercomplex directs mitochondrial protein translocation and sorting - Nature Structural & Molecular Biology
Abstract The mitochondrial translocase of the outer membrane (TOM) and translocase of the inner membrane 23 (TIM23) complexes are coupled to control protein import across the outer and inner membranes, respectively. Mechanistic insights into the acetyl-CoA recognition by SLC33A1 - Cell Discovery
Dear Editor, Acetyl-coenzyme A (acetyl-CoA) is a pivotal metabolic intermediate that plays dual roles: it is both a product of numerous catabolic reactions and a precursor for a multitude of anabolic processes. In addition to these metabolic functions, acetyl-CoA acts as a donor for the acetylation modification of various proteins and glycolipids, which is crucial for regulating their activity and function1.

Two Dimensional Position Correction Algorithm for High-Squint Synthetic Aperture Radar in Wavenumber Domain Algorithm
1. Introduction Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is an active remote sensing detection sensor with a high resolution [1,2]. It is a coherent detection radar [3] which uses synthetic aperture technology to achieve a large equivalent antenna diameter through movement of the platform. Thus, high-resolution capabilities in the azimuth direction are obtained through synthetic aperture technology, where a high resolution in the range direction is achieved by transmitting large-bandwidth signals [4].
