COULEE CITY, Wash — Fire crews are tackling a wildfire burning near Coulee City on Sunday night in Grant County. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO), the fire’s burning in the area of State Route 2 and State Route 17, near the south end of Banks Lake. GCSO said SR-2 is closed from SR-17 to milepost 186, while SR-17 is closed from SR-2 to milepost 103 due to the fire.

Grant County Fire District 13 Fire crews are tackling a wildfire burning near Coulee City on Sunday night in Grant County. According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office (GCSO), the Garred Road Fire was burning in the area of State Route 2 and State Route 17, near the south end of Banks Lake.

Fire crews tackle 2-alarm brush fire by Mead Original

Fire crews are tackling a small 2-alarm brush burning by Mead on Saturday afternoon. According to Spokane County Fire District 9 (SCFD9), the fire is located east of Market Street and north of Magnesium Road. At last check, it’s about one acre in size. SCFD 9 said the fire's forward progress has been stopped and the fire is fully wet lined. They'll stay on scene to mop the fire up. Spokane Fire Department also responded with SCFD9 to put out this fire.
