Kirkwood’s Kim Muhl inducted to Women’s Basketball HOF

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (KCRG) - Kirkwood head coach Kim Muhl was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday night in Knoxville, Tennessee. Muhl won nine NJCAA Division II national championships at Kirkwood and holds the league record for consecutive wins with 39. He compiled more than 1,100 wins in 37 seasons coaching the Eagles, making him one of the most successful junior college coaches in the sport’s history. Muhl retired from coaching at Kirkwood this past year.
