GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – The City of Greenville wants to relocate dozens of utility lines sitting on utility poles above the ground, below it, in a move that would cost the city more than $350,000. City council members passed the first reading of an ordinance on Monday that would allocate $517,500 in city funds to the project. Duke Energy would partially reimburse the city for some of the costs. Two specific roads would be targeted for the project: East Stone Avenue and Augusta Street.
