Two people found shot inside LaGrange home that caught fire

Authorities in Lagrange say they found two bodies that had been shot after they were called to a house fire Saturday night. LaGrange Police say the LaGrange Fire Department responded to 100 Block of Fendig Street in reference to a fire. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and found the bodies of Jabreka Williams and Roderick Kennedy inside the structure. Authorities say the police department and the Criminal Investigations Division were notified and responded.

One killed in shooting on Buena Vista Road in Columbus

Columbus Police say a 17-year-old has been killed following a Friday evening shooting. Authorities say they were called to the shooting scene in the 6500 block of Buena Vista Road just before 5:30 p.m. Police say that’s where they found the victim, 17-year-old Rashod Barrett, dead from a gunshot wound. EMS arrived on scene and could not resuscitate him.
