The List is based on an individual’s influence in their community and outside their community through professional associations, mentoring, and writing.

2021 - Technology

The GMIS G2 Awards honors government in fulfilling its mission is expected to collaborate with and serve other entities. This competitive award recognizes the GMIS member agency whose IT project exhibits the best example of G2 of the year in the G2C (Citizens) and G2G (Government) categories. The G2C Award was received by the City of Seguin, TX. – Radio Infrastructure Upgrade.

The President’s Award is presented at the discretion of the President to a member that has made an exemplary and lasting contribution to the organization. For 2020-2021, the Awards Committee selected Shane McDaniel.
