When employing light sheet fluorescence microscopy (LSFM) to capture fluorescence images in semi-transparent biological specimens, the image quality often degrades due to stripe artifacts caused by light-absorbing or light-scattering media inside the specimen. To address this issue, we conceived a novel approach, to the best of our knowledge, to utilize multiple light sheets generated via a micro-lens array.

Globally, urbanization is rapidly accelerating, with 50% of the global population currently residing in urban regions (Neiderud, 2015). This phenomenon results in a population concentration that may facilitate the spread of diseases and infections (Alirol et al., 2011).
