Flea showed up at Tiny Desk Concert series and delivered three songs. He switched between trumpet, bass, and vocals. The Red Hot Chili Peppers co-founder arrived with his band after a gig at the Black Cat in Washington, D.C. The set opened with "Traffic Lights." Then came "Morning Cry" and "A Plea." On that first track, Flea picked up his trumpet. For the second, he doubled up on bass alongside Anna Butterss. On the third, he put down his instruments and sang.

The show starts July 22 and partners with Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare to help local musicians. The news was posted on the band's official website. Visitors get an early peek at pages from Farewell to Seasons, now transformed into standalone art pieces, per a post on Pearl Jam's website.

Mellencamp Launches North American Tour With 26-Song Set of Hits and Rare Tracks Original

John Mellencamp kicked off his Dancing Words — The Greatest Hits tour Friday night in Grand Rapids. The 26-song performance pulled out tracks not played live in over a decade. Starting at the Acrisure Amphitheatre in Michigan, the rocker then moved to the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Illinois. Five songs came from the 1985 album Scarecrow. These included "Small Town," "Lonely Ol' Night," and the title track.
