Vertical profile of ambient VOCs in background region of Southwest China from Mt. Fanjing observation
Abstract Atmospheric circulation and local meteorology strongly influence the transport and evolution of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in mountainous environments, yet their vertical distribution and controlling factors in southwest China remain poorly characterized.
Clinical heterogeneity and treatment optimization in anti-KLHL11 encephalitis: two case reports and literature review
Abstract Objective: This study aimed to investigate the clinical features, differential treatment responses, and management strategies of encephalitis associated with anti-Kelch-like protein 11 (KLHL11) antibodies. Methods: We report two cases of anti-KLHL11 encephalitis that improved following immunotherapy and present a literature review of cases published in the last six years. Results: Case 1 involved a 52-year-old woman who tested positive for serum anti-KLHL11 antibodies at a 1:100 titer.
Frontiers | Overexpression of IL-8 augments the susceptibility to a hyperinflammatory phenotype in pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome and correlates with adverse outcomes: a retrospective two-center study conducted in northwest China
ORIGINAL RESEARCH article Volume 14 - 2026 | https://doi.org/10.3389/fped.2026.1626327 1 Introduction The acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is a life-threatening condition caused by pathological alterations in the alveolar epithelium and capillary epithelium. It is a heterogeneous syndrome mainly manifested as pulmonary edema, increased capillary permeability and refractory hypoxemia (1–3). Inflammatory factors exert a pivotal role in the lung diseases (4).

The 1927 Beijing Art Convention and Lin Fengmian in China: from a social movement to an artistic movement
1 The Beiyang Government, dominated by the Beiyang Army, governed China from 1912 to 1928. 2 Charles Tilly contends that the nation-state’s discourse of power and mainstream logic represent one side of the coin, while the continuous resistance of collective action—namely social movements—constitutes the other side. 3 Tickets were sold for the exhibition, so the recorded figures are relatively accurate and reliable.
Engineering Stimuli‐Responsive Materials for Precision Medicine
1 Introduction Precision medicine is a medical discipline that integrates advances in basic scientific findings with the mechanisms of human diseases[1-5] Its aim is to provide novel treatment options for patients.[2, 6] In recent years, rapid developments in basic disciplines such as genomics,[7, 8] immunology,[9, 10] oncology,[11, 12] and pharmacology[13, 14] have revealed potential targets for clinical challenges, leading to the pioneering of new treatments,[15, 16] the construction of...

Topological Network Modes in a Twisted Moir\'e Phononic Crystal
Twisted moiré materials, a new class of layered structures with different twist angles for neighboring layers, are attracting great attention because of the rich intriguing physical phenomena associated with them. Of particular interest are the topological network modes, first proposed in the small angle twisted bilayer graphene under interlayer bias. Here we report the observations of such topological network modes in twisted moiré phononic crystals without requiring the external bias fields.

The correlation between insulin autoimmune syndrome and HLA typing
Introduction Insulin autoimmune syndrome (IAS) is characterized by spontaneous hypoglycemia, elevated endogenous insulin, and positive insulin autoantibodies (IAA). It is often triggered by thiol-containing drugs (including non-thiol drugs like gold thioglucose and albumin) or viral infections, with some cases being idiopathic.

Improved STMask R-CNN-based defect detection model for automatic visual inspection of an optics lens
A lens defect is a common quality issue that has seriously harmed the scattering characteristics and performance of optical elements, reducing the quality consistency of the finished products. Furthermore, the energy hotspots coming from the high-energy laser through diffraction of optical component defects are amplified step by step in multi-level laser conduction, causing serious damage to the optical system.
The Impact of Digital Transformation on Supply Chain Capabilities and Supply Chain Competitive Performance
1. Introduction With the rapid development of digital technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, blockchain, and 5G, coupled with the interconnected global economy and the high level of uncertainty in the external environment, risks and opportunities are exerting immeasurable impacts on the sustainable development and competitive performance of supply chains.
Advances in CRISPR/Cas9-based research related to soybean [Glycine max (Linn.) Merr] molecular breeding
1 Introduction Soybean is a significant source of vegetable proteins for humans and an important oilseed crop, making it a commercially valuable plant (Zhang A, et al., 2023). More than 90% of the soybean plants cultivated in the three main soybean-producing countries (USA, Brazil, and Argentina) are genetically modified varieties generated using gene editing technology (Fang et al., 2023).
Acoustic Quadrupolar Surface Topological Semimetals
Abstract Quadrupolar topological semimetals with a bulk quadrupole moment have been intensively investigated recently. Of special interest is the quadrupolar surface topological semimetal, which has gapped bulk but surface Dirac nodes attached to each other by hinge states. However, this novel state remains to be observed in condensed matter. Here, we implement the quadrupolar surface topological semimetal in acoustic crystals.
Effect of the Laying Order of Core Layer Materials on the Sound-Insulation Performance of High-Speed Train Carbody
Abstract : The design of sound-insulation schemes requires the development of new materials and structures while also paying attention to their laying order. If the sound-insulation performance of the whole structure can be improved by simply changing the laying order of materials or structures, it will bring great advantages to the implementation of the scheme and cost control. This paper studies this problem.
Value of diffusion-weighted imaging in diagnosis and therapy response assessment of hepatic fungal infection in patients with acute leukemia.
To investigate the role of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) for diagnosis and posttreatment assessment of hepatic fungal infection in patients with acute leukemia. Patients with acute leukemia and highly suspected hepatic fungal infection were collected in the study. All the patients underwent MRI examination, including initial and follow-up DWI. The apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values of the lesions and the normal liver parenchyma were compared using Student’s t-test.

Advances in Periprocedural Anticoagulation for Percutaneous Coronary Interventions
1. Introduction The incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases has increased year by year, posing a serious risk to people’s lives. In the clinical treatment of coronary heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is commonly used, especially in the clinical treatment of patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS), which has good therapeutic effects.

Apiaceous Vegetable Consumption Decreases PhIP-Induced DNA Adducts and Increases Methylated PhIP Metabolites in the Urine Metabolome in Rats
Background: Heterocyclic aromatic amines, such as 2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine (PhIP), are carcinogenic compounds produced during heating of protein-containing foods. Apiaceous vegetables inhibit PhIP-activating enzymes, whereas cruciferous vegetables induce both PhIP-activating and -detoxifying enzymes. Objective: We investigated the effects of these vegetables, either alone or combined, on PhIP metabolism and colonic DNA adduct formation in rats.
