CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Planned Parenthood’s local office is taking the Ohio Department of Health to court, arguing the state is improperly blocking a license transfer tied to a clinic in Dayton and putting abortion access in southwest Ohio at risk. Planned Parenthood bought the Women’s Med Center in Dayton in 2024 to serve as a new surgical facility but says the Ohio Department of Health has refused to transfer the clinic’s license.
