Fortification of complementary foods with iron-containing micronutrient powders is the preferred method for the prevention of IDA in resource-limited settings. In developed countries, the prevention of sideropenia is through the consumption of iron-rich foods of animal origin.

Uranium, a crucial nuclear fuel, has become a focal point due to escalating environmental concerns arising from its rapid use in the nuclear industry [1], [2]. The generation of large volumes of uranium-containing wastewater pose a severe threat to human health [3], [4]. Thus, separation and extraction of uranium are essential to ensure human well-being and the sustainable development of nuclear energy.
