KENT CITY, Mich. — More than two decades after losing his 10-year-old son in a crash caused by a distracted driver, a Michigan father is working to prevent other families from experiencing the same tragedy. Daniel McBride said his son, Ross, was killed when a distracted driver ran a red light and struck the vehicle he was riding in after a trip with friends. “There’s no language on this Earth, no language in this universe that can accurately describe the pain of losing a child,” McBride said.
