Last week Voluptuous Space Cadet celebrated one year. Thank you for every like, comment, and share—it helps my work reach a wider audience and I am forever grateful. Check out the year in review if you haven’t already!! xx I remember sitting in a coffee shop on the Upper East Side. It was the year after the financial crash. Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance was topping the charts. I looked down at my shoes and realized I hadn’t bought a new pair of sneakers since high school.

Aberdeen Christmas Lights Parade 2025 brought festive magic to the city centre on Sunday November 16. Thousands enjoyed the much-loved Christmas Lights Parade, which returned to Union Street, along with the ever-popular Santa Dash. The parade began at Albyn Place, then to Union Terrace, before it finished at His Majesty’s Theatre, kicked off by the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron.
