What does it mean to be a journalist?
Everything -- journalism is educating the public, exposing abusers, challenging tyranny, sharing stories of triumph and failure.

Why did you become a journalist?
I developed a passion for sports as a child and wanted to write about the games I loved.

No.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm most proud of overseeing a four-part series on the 40th anniversary of Title IX, which won a New England Newspaper Award.
