The tool they use to complete this mission is the venerable F-15C Eagle. Dating back to the 1970s and 80s, the individual airframes have long surpassed the intended life of their designers. Responsible for the aging aircraft's essential maintenance are the 450 Airmen of the 142nd Maintenance Group.
