Lithium-Difluoro(oxalato)borate Concentration Effects on Anion-Enhanced Solvation Structure and Low-Temperature Performance for Lithium Batteries Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! The formation of anion-derived, inorganic-rich electrode/electrolyte interphases (EEIs) on the both electrodes is essential for achieving long-cycle-life lithium batteries. The properties of these EEIs are largely governed by the solvation structure of Li+, which can be precisely modulated through interactions between solvents and lithium salts.

Testicular microenvironment disruption in varicocele: mechanisms and implications for spermatogenesis
Abstract Varicocele is a common cause of male infertility, but the mechanisms by which it disrupts testicular homeostasis and impairs spermatogenesis remain incompletely elucidated. This article reviews current evidence on the multifactorial disturbances in the testicular microenvironment induced by varicocele, with a focus on hemodynamic, biochemical, and structural abnormalities.

Structure, thermal behavior, and chemical durability of Y2O3/Sb2O3‐modified phosphate glass for Cu/Al substrates
Due to the inherent material limitations of Cu/Al substrates—particularly their low melting point (approximately 660°C for Al) and high coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE)—these materials pose significant challenges in sealing processes. To address these challenges, this study focuses on developing a tailored low-temperature, high-CTE phosphate sealing glass.
Functional characterization of BodoCSP3 in odorant recognition and host‐seeking behavior of the insect pest Bradysia odoriphaga (Diptera: Sciaridae)
BACKGROUND Chemosensory proteins (CSPs) are integral components of the insect olfactory system, facilitating the recognition, binding, and transport of odorant molecules to odorant receptors (ORs), thereby modulating various insect behavioral responses. In this study, we focused on characterizing the function of BodoCSP3, a CSP cloned and identified from the pest Bradysia odoriphaga. BodoCSP3 was found to be highly expressed in the adult antennae, suggesting a potential role in olfaction.
Mechanistic insights into the potential role of botanical drugs and plant-derived metabolites in mitigating oxidative stress in varicocele
Abstract Varicocele (VC) is a prevalent male urogenital disorder associated with scrotal discomfort, impaired semen quality, and endocrine dysregulation, in which oxidative stress (OS) is repeatedly implicated as a key pathogenic axis linking venous stasis, hypoxia, hyperthermia, inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and germ-cell injury.

Theory-guided design of S-doped Fe/Co dual-atom nanozyme for highly efficient oxidase mimics
Theory-guided design of S-doped Fe/Co dual-atom nanozyme for highly efficient oxidase mimics The advent of dual-atom nanozymes (DAzymes) featuring distinctive bimetallic active sites garnered significant attention, representing enhanced iterations of conventional single-atom nanozymes. The quest for an effective and universal strategy to modulate the catalytic activity of DAzymes posed a formidable challenge, yet few published reports addressed this.

Learned Regularizations for Multi‐Parameter Elastic Full Waveform Inversion Using Diffusion Models
1 Introduction Full waveform inversion (FWI) is considered to be the state-of-the-art parameter estimation method in seismic inverse problems. This reconstruction problem estimates the Earth's medium parameters by minimizing the difference between the measured and simulated seismic waveforms (Lailly & Bednar, 1983; Tarantola, 1984). An accurate wave simulation is at the heart of obtaining accurate results.

High‐speed submillimeter magnetic‐driven rotational scanning side‐imaging OCT probe
Abstract A high-speed side-imaging magnetic-driven scanning (MDS) probe is proposed for endoscopic optical coherence tomography (OCT). In the distal end of the probe, a reflecting micromirror is attached to a tiny magnet, which is driven by an external fast-rotating magnetic field to achieve unobstructed 360-degree side-view scanning. A prototype probe was fabricated with an outer diameter of 0.89 mm.
A Study of Sliver in C-Shaped Grain Selectors during Investment Casting of Single-Crystal Superalloy
Abstract : In this study, the formation mechanism of sliver defects in C-shaped 2D grain selectors during investment casting of single-crystal superalloy was investigated by analyzing the effects of the C-shaped 2D grain selectors on the solidification behavior of superalloy. The physical field properties of the sliver formation and solidification characteristics of CM247LC nickel-based superalloy were determined. The temperature and stress fields were simulated using ProCAST.
