I joined the staff of the Kingston Whig-Standard/Postmedia in March of 2025.

For nine years I was a feature writer on staff with ESPN The Magazine and espn.com. Later I served as a feature editor and writer for Sportsnet. Back in the 90s I was a columnist and feature writer with the Globe and Mail.

Got a Smith Corona manual unit for my fifth birthday, taught myself to type with one finger, used it all the way into j-school.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

A Reader's Digest feature on a missionary working with survivors and those at risk of human trafficking, reported on the ground in Albania.

"The Fall of '87" was a 90-minute documentary podcast marking the 30th anniversary of the Toronto Blue Jays' loss of the pennant on the last day of the season and the devastating effect on many of the principals. This was the only nomination that Rogers Sportsnet received that year.
