Integrated multi-omics identifies distinct immune signatures with diagnostic and therapeutic implications in immune checkpoint inhibitor-induced myocarditis
Abstract Immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated myocarditis (ICI-myocarditis) is a rare but frequently fatal immune-related adverse event. A comprehensive understanding of the cellular and molecular determinants driving ICI-myocarditis is essential for improving diagnostic precision and developing targeted interventions. We delineate the immune landscape of ICI-myocarditis via scRNA-seq, flow cytometry, Olink proteomics, and multiplex cytokine profiling.
Self-aggregated photo-heterostructures enhancing fluorescence for cancer diagnosis and treatment monitoring
Abstract Semiconductor zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures as classic photonic materials have sparked the development of low-cost, high-performance fluorescence sensors; however, their scalable clinical applications remain hampered by inadequate sensitivity. Here, we engineer a high-curvature photo-heterostructure aggregate-enhanced fluorescence (PAEF) sensor based on bubble-scaffolded ZnO nanorods.
Ultra-high-dose-rate pulsed irradiation and the conditional FLASH effect: dosimetry, multiscale biology, and clinical translation
Abstract Ultra-high-dose-rate (UHDR) pulsed irradiation can deliver therapeutic doses within an extremely short time window, but UHDR is a physical delivery state, whereas the FLASH effect is a conditional comparative phenotype in which normal-tissue injury is reduced relative to a spatially dose-comparable conventional-dose-rate (CDR) irradiation comparator without loss of tumor control.
SHH-functionalized fibrin scaffold improves spinal cord repair in rats and modulates primary neural stem cell behavior in vitro
Abstract The sustained delivery of regenerative cues within the injured spinal cord microenvironment represents a promising strategy for promoting spinal cord injury (SCI) repair. In this study, we developed a fibrin-based scaffold functionalized through the polydopamine (PD)-mediated immobilization of sonic hedgehog (SHH), designated FG/PD@SHH, to achieve localized and sustained SHH delivery.

Association between periodontitis and different insulin resistance indices in hypertensive patients: a multicenter cross-sectional study
Abstract Insulin resistance (IR) is closely related to metabolic dysfunction and systemic inflammation, both of which may contribute to periodontitis. However, the association between different IR indices and periodontitis in patients with hypertension remains insufficiently characterized. This study aimed to evaluate the associations of six IR indices with periodontitis among hypertensive patients. This multicenter cross-sectional study included 12,028 patients with hypertension.

Development and trend of stem cell therapy for diabetes: a comprehensive review based on knowledge visualization
Abstract Introduction: Type 1 diabetes is characterized by autoimmune destruction of pancreatic β‑cells, whereas type 2 diabetes involves chronic low‑grade systemic inflammation. Stem cell therapy, through both direct cell replacement and immunomodulation, holds great promise for treating diabetes. However, a comprehensive bibliometric analysis systematically mapping the knowledge structure, evolutionary trajectory, and immunological landscape of this field is currently lacking.
Preoperative of balloon pulmonary angioplasty in chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension using virtual balloon expansion: a pilot study
Abstract Objectives: Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) demands precise balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) planning to address unpredictable hemodynamic outcomes. This pilot study explores the potential of virtual simulation to inform this process.

Effects of letrozole supplementation on growth performance, plasma hormones, and plasma metabolites in weaned female lambs of Turpan black sheep
Abstract This study investigates how adding letrozole (LE) to the diet affects the growth, blood hormones and metabolites, rumen fermentation, and gut microbes of weaned female Turpan Black sheep. The results could help guide strategies to enhance female growth and open new avenues for research.
N‐glycosylation profiles of apoplast nanoparticles modulate plant immune responses to different pathogens in Arabidopsis
INTRODUCTION The apoplast serves as a critical interface for plant–microbe interactions, mediating signal exchange, nutrient transport, and defense responses during pathogen invasion (Doehlemann and Hemetsberger, 2013; Wang et al., 2022). Among these, bacterial and fungal infections represent major biotic stresses that threaten plant survival and productivity (Fisher et al., 2012; Carvajal-Yepes et al., 2019).

Neutrophil percentage-to-albumin ratio as a novel hematologic biomarker for predicting arteriogenic erectile dysfunction
Introduction Erectile dysfunction (ED) is defined as the persistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance (1). It is one of the most common male sexual disorders, currently affecting approximately 150 million men worldwide, and this number is projected to exceed 300 million by 2025 (2).
Numerical Study on Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics in Spherical Particle Packed Beds Under Unheated and Heated Conditions

Additionally, parametric geometric modeling is subsequently applied to establish two ordered packing models (in-line and staggered arrangements) for comparison.
Giant Isotope Effect in Metal-Organic Frameworks Boosts Unprecedented Photo‐ and Radio‐Luminescence Enhancement
1 Introduction Isotope effect (IE) is the variation in the physical and chemical properties caused by isotopes [1, 2], which share the same atomic number but differ in neutron number. Protium/deuterium is the most extensively studied pair due not only to the relatively low cost of deuterium but also to the most pronounced IE whose magnitude is generally correlated with the relative mass difference between isotopes [3, 4].

Association between total and regional body fat measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry and apolipoprotein B - Scientific Reports
Abstract Apolipoprotein B (apoB) can be measured directly and accurately, and better predicts atherogenic risk than conventional lipid profiles. We aimed to investigate whether total and regional (trunk or leg) fat deposits are associated with apoB levels in general US adults. 4585 participants were enrolled from the US National Health and Nutritional Surveys from 2011 to 2016. Overall and regional body fat were measured using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry.
FLASH Irradiation Modulates Immune Responses and Accelerates Lung Recovery: A Single‐Cell Perspective
1 Introduction Radiation therapy (RT) is a widely utilized approach for treating thoracic malignancies, yet it is often accompanied by clinical complications such as impaired wound healing in irradiated tissues and damage to surrounding normal lung tissues.[1, 2] These adverse effects have spurred an urgent demand for advancements in RT technologies and strategies that can effectively protect normal tissues.[3, 4] Over the past decade, ultra-high dose rate (UHDR) pulsed irradiation (mean dose...

g-C3N4 nanorods modified with N defects via the molten salt method: efficient photocatalysts for hydrogen production
g-C3N4 nanorods modified with N defects via the molten salt method: efficient photocatalysts for hydrogen production† Owing to the intrinsic limitations of g-C3N4, its photocatalytic performance is less than optimal. To overcome this, the modification process of g-C3N4 was designed through a molten salt method to achieve a nanorod morphology and introduce N defects (CN-PS, CN-PC, and CN-SS).

Biochar enhances the simultaneous stabilization of chromium and lead in contaminated soil by Penicillium oxalicum SL2
Heavy metal contamination in soils has become a serious environmental challenge. Among the various heavy metals contributing to soil pollution, chromium (Cr(VI)) and lead (Pb)) are particularly widespread, with significant concentrations found in areas associated with leather processing, electroplating, metal smelting, and specific mining locations [29,61]. The concurrent contamination of Cr and Pb is especially alarming, with the magnitude of pollution warranting considerable attention.
