Swimsuit donations distributed to Spokane nonprofits, schools just in time for summer

SPOKANE, Wash. — Distribution is underway this week for the swimsuits many in our community donated during our annual Help Me Hayley 'Make-A-Splash' swimsuit drive. The effort is a partnership with the nonprofit the Spokane Parks Foundation. "This makes a difference," said Spokane Parks Foundation Executive Director Yvonne Trudeau. "A swimsuit seems like a small thing, but it really does have an impact. It ensures kids can first of all get into pools, and are safe while they are swimming.
