At El Arepaso Venezuelan Café in south Tulsa, they're collecting funds for support. “Through the month of July, we're going to be donating 15% of all of our sales to the We Love Foundation as well as 100% of our tips," said General Manager Elena Hart Murillo.

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa is predicted to experience more severe weather this week, with flooding already occurring across the state. It’s been one of the city’s priorities to restructure the landscape to make streets safer after the fatal floods in the 80s. It has achieved a class 1 community rating system since 2021. 2 News confirmed with the city that Tulsa has the highest level of floodplain management, resulting in a 45 percent discount on flood insurance premiums.

Several organizations are trying to change that, by bringing resources straight to the areas that need them. It's why Northside Neighbors and Urban Strategies partnered to bring a career fair to the 36 Street North event center.
