CLINTON TWP. - After putting on an offensive clinic in their previous two matchups scoring over 40 points in both games, the North Hunterdon High School football Lions found themselves in a defensive showdown with Colonia High School. On a night the Lions (4-4) honored their senior players and cheerleaders who participated in their last regular season game on their home turf, North Hunterdon was not able to walk away with a victory, falling short to the Patriots (6-2) 17-12, at Singley Field.
