Jason Gray’s Biography

Jason is a reporter, columnist and entrepreneurial writer. He is the business and community organization beat writer for The New Falcon Herald in Falcon, Colo. He's reported on topics from finance to disability law to marijuana legalization. (He lives in Colorado, after all.)

He believes in storyselling rather than content marketing. His work for Insight.com, Colorado-based LnB Connectors and other clients focus on providing content that doesn't feel like "content."

Before he turned his love of writing into a career, Jason ran the trading desk for a hedge fund in Los Angeles and was a registered investment adviser. He also admits a brief stint ghostwriting articles and speeches for politicians and think tank figures in Washington, D.C. Jason graduated from the University of Southern California. He and his family enjoy camping, hiking and fishing, which he writes about in travelogue format for The New Falcon Herald and his personal blogs.
