Johny Fernandez joined News 6 Morning News Team as a reporter in September 2014.

Covering all of Central Florida and important news stories that affect our community, Fernandez shoots, writes and edits his own news stories but specializes on stories affecting Osceola County.

That is a good thing because the New Jersey native is no stranger to Central Florida. His roots are in Osceola County and Johny says he always knew his TV career would bring him back to his true hometown, the town of Kissimmee.
