You're always going to have someone who will poo-poo an EV with less than 300 miles, saying it doesn't have enough range. My test is always whether I think I can get to my mom's house 200 miles away without stopping. But now that more charging stations are popping up, this is less of a big deal. And, frankly, most people will never need as much range as they think they do. So, when I drove the 2026 Toyota C-HR, I didn't consider the range to be a ding.
