Association between circadian syndrome and biological age acceleration among Chinese middle-aged and older adults: evidence from CHARLS
Abstract Circadian syndrome (CircS), characterized by circadian rhythm disruption and metabolic abnormalities, has been associated with various adverse health outcomes. However, its association with biological age acceleration remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the association between CircS and biological age acceleration and the potential mediating role of estimated glucose disposal rate (eGDR) using data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS).
Association of cumulative cholesterol-HDL-glucose index with cardiovascular disease risk in individuals with cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome stages 0–3: a nationwide prospective cohort study
Abstract Cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic (CKM) syndrome integrates cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and metabolic risk factors, highlighting their interaction and shared progression. The cholesterol–HDL–glucose (CHG) index is a composite lipid–glucose index that may reflect metabolic dysfunction related to insulin resistance, although it is not a direct measure of insulin sensitivity.

Psoriasis as a systemic inflammatory disease: an immune set-point framework for comorbidities and relapse
Abstract Psoriasis is increasingly recognized as a systemic immune-mediated disorder that extends beyond cutaneous inflammation. Although skin lesions are its most visible manifestation, growing evidence indicates that psoriasis reflects a broader disruption of immune homeostasis accompanied by sustained systemic inflammatory activation. Persistent immune activation, altered myeloid programming, and dysregulated immunometabolic pathways together establish a state of chronic inflammatory priming.

Internal Tide Variability in the Arabian Sea Simulated by a High‐Resolution Model With Realistic Forcing
1 Introduction Internal tides are a crucial energy source for the internal wave field of the ocean, generated by the interaction of barotropic tidal currents with topographic features such as continental slopes, seamounts, and mid-ocean ridges (Carter et al., 2008; Egbert & Ray, 2003; Laurent et al., 2003; Zhao et al., 2016). Compared to surface tides, internal tides have larger isopycnal displacements and shorter horizontal wavelengths (Dushaw et al., 1995; Ray & Mitchum, 1996).

Exploring human milk oligosaccharides: mechanisms linking gut function to cognitive development in human and pig physiology
Introduction Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs) have emerged as central players in the complex interplay between nutrition and physiology(1). While their primary relevance lies in human infant nutrition, pigs serve as an excellent model for studying HMOs' functions in humans due to their close similarities in digestive systems, nutritional demands, and gut microbiomes (2).

SnS-induced element diffusion Simultaneous optimization of interface and bulk defects in High-Efficiency CZTSSe solar cells
CZTSSe thin film solar cell is a new type of high-efficiency thin film solar cell. It has become a hot spot in the photovoltaic field because of its high absorptivity (∼104 cm−1), high weak light response, high stability, potentially low cost, and environment friendliness [1], [2]. As an optical absorber layer, CZTSSe is an intrinsic P-type multicomponent compound semiconductor material.
Microstructural Evolution and Damage Mechanism of Water-Immersed Coal Based on Physicochemical Effects of Inorganic Minerals
1. Introduction Coal resources still represent an impressive share of the global energy mix [1]. In countries such as Poland, China, India, and the United States, coal is a primary source of energy consumption and a pillar of energy security due to its abundant reserves and economic viability. The ongoing war in Ukraine and rising energy prices have raised growing energy security concerns across Europe and beyond, heightening the urgency for a transition to renewable energy [2].

Reconstruction and immobilization of polymolybdate induced by metal-organic coordination units for enhanced electrocatalytic hydrogen generation Electrocatalytic water cracking for hydrogen evolution has drawn the concern from researchers owing to its high efficiency. Polymolybdate has excellent redox behaviors and O-rich surface, becoming attractive electrocatalytic materials.
Study on the Bionic Design and Cutting Performance of Alfalfa Cutters Based on the Maxillary Mouthparts of Longicorn Beetles
1. Introduction Alfalfa, often hailed as the “king of forages”, is a high-quality perennial forage legume extensively cultivated around the globe. It serves as a vital source of digestible fibre, particularly beneficial for ruminants like dairy cows, not only providing protein for animal feed but also enhancing sustainable agriculture by contributing nitrogen to the soil when used as a rotational crop [1,2,3].

Variability and energy budget of the baroclinic tides in the Arabian Sea
1 Introduction Internal tides are predominantly produced as barotropic tides flow over rugged topographies, such as seamounts, ridges, and trenches, in a stratified ocean, and are generally referred to as baroclinic tides with tidal frequencies (Egbert and Ray, 2003; Laurent et al., 2003; Carter et al., 2008). Compared to surface tides, internal tides are characterized by a larger vertical displacement of isopycnals and smaller horizontal wavelengths (Dushaw et al., 1995; Ray and Mitchum, 1996).

A peptide derived from the interaction site of VIM and N–P complex exhibits antiviral ability Earlier studies concerning the interacting components of viral proteins showed that polypeptides derived from these interacting proteins exhibited antiviral activity [32–34]. With regard to the important role of the VIM head domain in the inhibition of the replication of HPIV3, we next tried to pinpoint the part of the domain participating in its interaction with the N–P complex.

Clinical pearls for dealing with uveitis and ocular inflammation
Five clinical pearls for treating uveitis and associated ocular inflammation Jingyi Ma, Irfan Nizarali Kherani, Chloe Gottlieb | 03/01/2021 | Longer Read Up to 10 percent of blindness in the US is caused by uveitis (1); annual incidence ranges from 17 to 52 per 100,000 persons and increases with age (1, 2). Though it can be the result of viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infection, uveitis in North America is most often associated with autoimmune disease.
