This is America
The English are polite. The Scots a delight. The Swedes are calming, And the Welsh so charming. But I want to voice something Truly alarming. A young woman, armed to the teeth, Buying guns legally, Since her eighteenth. This is America, The land of the free. The land of the free, Lock up your kids. Freedom from death, This country forbids. A cycle of death, thoughts, and prayers, Debate, inaction, mass shooting, Despair. An ideology idle, frightful and primal.

John Fox's 3 Pillars That Form a Super Bowl Foundation
One of the most important things that all great coaches have in common is a strong “why” behind everything they do. If a coach’s “why” is to make money, this profession probably won’t work out for them. My “why” has always been to win a world championship. It’s easy to talk about, but getting to a Super Bowl takes more than just talent.

Editor's Letter, November 2021: Get to Know Your Local Coffeehouse
Editor’s Letter, November 2021: Get to Know Your Local Coffeehouse Great coffeehouses help you escape the outside hustle and bustle and never hurry you along, and they build connections with communities one cup at a time. Let’s get this out of the way right up front: I don’t drink coffee. I’ve always been a tea person, so I have nothing against steaming hot mugs of caffeinated bliss waking me up in the morning, sending me to sleep in the evening, or keeping me company at any hour in between.

Editor’s Letter, July 2021: Life Is Good. Have a Burger Burgers are synonymous with summer in the USA. Seriously, is there a more American food than the humble hamburger? Editor’s Letter, June 2021: We Just Keep Coming Back I learned that “boomerangs were a thing here—a current of people leaving and then moving back years later. Telehealth use skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic, filling a critical access gap for millions of Americans. While in-person visits have since rebounded, virtual care has moved decisively from the sidelines to the mainstream where its role will only continue to expand. But over the past year, communities with higher poverty rates saw significantly lower telehealth use than others, and rural areas saw lower use than urban areas.

But the coronavirus’s assault on our sense of purpose is as devastating as its attack on our immune systems.” Illustration by Lars Leetaru It’s an age-old question that supposedly divides us into two camps: Do you work to live, or do you live to work?
