Josh Brown’s Biography

Josh Brown hosts a podcast called Baseballogy which is the meta-story arch of humanity expressed through modern baseball analytics juxtaposed with Bobby Cox wisdom. Through the years he's been a baseball writer, sometimes baseball blogger, has been on the radio, and has become well connected in the dark web of sports media. He's also a relatively new believer after a failed career as an atheist.

What was your first job as a journalist?

I coerced the Rome-News Tribune into letting me write opinionated Braves columns.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes. (Were were poor growing up... I was probably the last kid with a typewriter in the 90's.)

How is social media changing news?

Instantaneous. Almost too fast... instead of letting facts marinate, we tweet them immediately. Good but dangerous.
