Don Cameron, the voice of the Kitchener Rangers for 50 years, has died. Cameron, who retired three years back, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness. He was 82. The proud P.E.I. native called more than 4,000 Rangers games over 50 years before retiring three years ago. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carole. "His impact is immeasurable," said longtime friend and colleague Mike Farwell, who took over for Cameron in the radio booth. "He was the soundtrack for the Rangers." More to come.
