Cellulosic Composites in Lithium Metal Batteries
1 Introduction Against the backdrop of global warming and the environmental pollution and energy scarcity caused by the overexploitation of traditional fossil fuels, significant expectations have been placed on the protection of natural ecosystems and the development and utilization of renewable energy sources (including wind, solar, and tidal energy). However, the direct output and utilization of renewable energy suffer from intermittency and instability to varying degrees.
Nano-Confined Radical Anion as An NIR-II Photothermal Immunogenic Amplifier for In Situ Cancer Vaccination
1 Introduction Immunogenic cell death (ICD), a regulated form of cell death, releases damage-associated molecular patterns and tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) that prime an adaptive immune response [1]. Inducing ICD to transform a tumor into an in situ vaccine is a compelling strategy for eliciting systemic anti-tumor immunity [2-4].

Prostaglandin E2 alleviates acetaminophen-induced liver injury through DDIT4-enhanced autophagy regulated by circLima1 / miR-486
Abstract Acetaminophen (APAP) overdose is a leading cause of acute liver injury (AILI). While Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) protects against various forms of acute hepatitis, its underlying mechanisms and the role of circRNA-mediated regulatory networks in AILI remain to be elucidated. AILI was induced in mice by administration of 500 mg/kg APAP, with or without 16,16-dimethyl PGE2 (dmPGE2) pretreatment.
Plasmonic Dirac-vortex lasers via three-dimensional photonic mass vortices engineering
Abstract Topological photonic crystals provide a powerful platform for manipulating light. However, their flexibility in realizing diverse far-field beam profiles and polarization states is limited by the number of spatial symmetries lattices can provide. Here, we demonstrate plasmonic Dirac-vortex lasers with controlled polarization and intensity distributions by engineering photonic mass vortices in a three-dimensional parameter space.

The impact of atopy on the clinical characteristics of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in pediatric patients - Scientific Reports
Abstract Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) is one of the pathogens that cause community-acquired pneumonia in children. Atopic diseases are also common in children. However, the impact of atopy on Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP) in children is still unclear. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of atopy on the clinical characteristics of MPP in children, and provide a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Enhanced dispersion of prussian blue via intercalation into layered double hydroxides for efficient solar seawater evaporation
Enhanced dispersion of prussian blue via intercalation into layered double hydroxides for efficient solar seawater evaporation† Prussian blue (PB) is favored for its photothermal absorption capability in solar vapor generation applications. However, the photothermal conversion efficiency of current PB-based devices is limited by the material's poor dispersion. Herein, we report a method of incorporating PB in the interlayers of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) to prevent its aggregation.

Far-field coupling between moiré photonic lattices - Nature Nanotechnology
Abstract Superposing two or more periodic structures to form moiré patterns is emerging as a promising platform to confine and manipulate light. However, moiré-facilitated interactions and phenomena have been constrained to the vicinity of moiré lattices. Here we report on the observation of ultralong-range coupling between photonic lattices in bilayer and multilayer moiré architectures mediated by dark surface lattice resonances in the vertical direction.

Photophysical Properties of Functionalized Double Decker Phenylsilsesquioxane Macromonomers: [PhSiO1.5]8[OSiMe2]2 and [PhSiO1.5]8[O0.5SiMe3]4. Cage-Centered Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbitals Form Even When Two Cage Edge Bridges Are Removed, Verified by
Bromination and iodination of title double decker (DD) phenylsilsesquioxane macromonomers occurs at ortho and para positions, respectively, as in PhT8,10,12 cages. Heck cross-coupling with 4-Me/CNstyrene gives the corresponding 4-Me/CNstilbene-substituted cages. All compounds were characterized by FTIR, MALDI-TOF, TGA, NMR and GPC. These compounds show UV–vis absorptions very similar to individual stilbene analogues.

Association between quality domains and health care spending across physician networks
Abstract One of the more fundamental health policy questions is the relationship between health care quality and spending. A better understanding of these relationships is needed to inform health systems interventions aimed at increasing quality and efficiency of care. We measured 65 validated quality indicators (QI) across Ontario physician networks.
