HSP70-mediated regulation of P-glycoprotein SUMOylation suppresses ferroptosis to drive thermoresistance in non-small cell lung cancer
Abstract Objective: Hyperthermia is a potential therapy for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC); however, cell resistance to hyperthermia remains challenging. This study investigated the role of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) in regulating small ubiquitin-like modifier modification (SUMOylation) of P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in the resistance of NSCLC cells to hyperthermia.
Thermally stable 2D YMnO 3 enabling blue visible camouflage with mid-infrared transparency
Abstract Blue coloration is highly desirable for visible camouflage in aerospace environments, while effective mid-infrared camouflage requires surface layers that do not disturb the underlying radiative boundary under thermal detection.
Retraction Note: Targeting 17q23 amplicon to overcome the resistance to anti-HER2 therapy in HER2+ breast cancer
Retraction to: Nature Communications https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-018-07264-0, published online 09 November 2018 This paper is being retracted after a joint research misconduct investigation conducted by Indiana University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Maryland, College Park found that Figure 5a/b/d/e and Supplementary Fig. 9 contain irregularities. The Editor has therefore lost confidence in this paper.
Hemodynamic effect of coil packing density after tubridge flow diverter for anterior circulation small and medium-sized aneurysms
Abstract Investigating the impact of coil embolization rate on hemodynamic parameters within the aneurysm sac after treating anterior circulation small and medium-sized aneurysms with the Tubridge (TB) flow diverter. Twenty-six patients with 29 intracranial aneurysms were collected between September 2020 and December 2022. The finite element method simulated preoperative conditions, after TB deployment alone, and with TB plus different coil embolization rates.

Two-Dimensional materials for high-current-density seawater electrolysis
Two-Dimensional materials for high-current-density seawater electrolysis Seawater electrolysis is a promising strategy for sustainable hydrogen production using abundant water resources while reducing freshwater depletion. However achieving stable and efficient operation at industrially relevant current densities remains challenging due to competition from the chlorine evolution reaction (CER) catalyst degradation and mass transport limitations.

Two-stage CD8+ CAR T-cell differentiation in patients with large B-cell lymphoma - Nature Communications
Abstract Advancements in chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy for treating diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) have been limited by an incomplete understanding of CAR T-cell differentiation in patients. Here, we show via single-cell, multi-modal, and longitudinal analyses, that CD8+ CAR T cells from DLBCL patients successfully treated with axicabtagene ciloleucel undergo two distinct waves of clonal expansion in vivo.

Iloprost Concentration‐Dependently Attenuates Platelet Function and Apoptosis by Elevating PKA Activity
1 Introduction Platelet count in peripheral blood is huge, second only to red blood cells, and platelets are easily activated [1]. Platelets play key roles in thrombosis and haemostasis [2]. At sites of vascular injury, free-flowing platelets are recruited via the interaction between glycoprotein (GP) Ib/V/IX and immobilised von Willebrand factor (vWF).
Role of the platelet-lymphocyte ratio as a prognostic indicator in patients with intracranial hemorrhage: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Discussion This meta-analysis assessed six studies involving 2,992 patients. The results of our meta-analysis indicated that an elevated PLR was significantly associated with poor functional outcome (mRS>2) and increased mortality. To our knowledge, there has been no meta-analysis evaluating the association between PLR and outcomes in patients with ICH. Thus, this study represents the first meta-analysis to explore the prognostic significance of PLR in patients with ICH.

Polycomb group protein Mel18 inhibits hematopoietic stem cell self-renewal through repressing the transcription of self-renewal and proliferation genes | Leukemia
Abstract Polycomb group (PcG) proteins play important roles in hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) self-renewal. Mel18 and Bmi1 are homologs of the PCGF subunit within the Polycomb repressive complex 1 (PRC1). Bmi1 (PCGF4) enhances HSC self-renewal and promotes terminal differentiation. However, the role of Mel18 (PCGF2) in hematopoiesis is not fully understood and how Mel18 regulates gene transcription in HSCs remains elusive.

High-throughput development and characterization of new functional nanobodies for gene regulation and epigenetic control in human cells
Abstract Controlling gene expression and chromatin state via the recruitment of transcriptional effector proteins to specific genetic loci has advanced the potential of mammalian synthetic biology, but is still hindered by the challenge of delivering large chromatin regulators. Here, we develop a new method for generating small nanobodies against human chromatin regulators that can repress or activate gene expression.

Full‐Space Electric Field in Mo‐Decorated Zn2In2S5 Polarization Photocatalyst for Oriented Charge Flow and Efficient Hydrogen Production
Integration of photocatalytic hydrogen (H2) evolution with oxidative organic synthesis presents a highly attractive strategy for the simultaneous production of clean H2 fuel and high-value chemicals. However, the sluggish dynamics of photogenerated charge carriers across the photocatalysts result in low photoconversion efficiency, hindering the wide applications of such a technology.

Oxygen vacancies in piezocatalysis: A critical review
Energy depletion and severe environmental problems brought by modern development have prompted people to develop green energy sources that are widely found in nature, such as wind, geothermal, and solar energy, to cope with the crisis [1]. Piezocatalytic technology, which can convert natural water currents, tides, and other mechanical forces into chemical energy, has received widespread attention and is considered to be an emerging green technology with great potential [2], [3].
Fabrication of metal oxides-based adsorbents for SO2 capture with equimolar adsorption
Pyrometallurgy and coal combustion produce large amounts of high-temperature flue gas (500–1200 °C) [1], which often contains a certain amount of SO2 in the flue gas [2], [3]. The discharge of unrecovered SO2 into the atmosphere will cause a series of problems, such as acid rain, affecting the health of human beings and animals as well as plants.
Increase of gas-liquid interfacial area in bubbly flows by pulsating flow conditions
