Parallel reservoir computing exploiting a single MEMS device via blue sideband excitation
Abstract Physical reservoir computing (PRC) offers a promising pathway for energy-efficient edge intelligence; however, existing micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) implementations struggle to balance computational dimensionality with hardware complexity. Here, we introduce a parallel reservoir architecture realized within a single MEMS resonator via Blue Sideband Excitation (BSE).
Buried‑Interface Seeded Bottom‑Up Growth for Universal High‑Efficiency p–i–n Perovskites
1 Introduction Inverted (p–i–n) perovskite solar cells offer clear advantages, including low-temperature processing, reduced hysteresis, and strong operational stability, which make them attractive for large-area modules and tandem integration [1-5]. However, their power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) still lag the Shockley-Queisser limit, with the dominant losses arising at the buried perovskite/charge‑transport interfaces [6-8].
Coherent transformation of metal halide perovskites
Abstract Metal-halide perovskites offer high optoelectronic performance but translating laboratory efficiencies into controllable, reproducible processes remains challenging. Perovskite crystallization is tracked by in situ multiwavelength absorption to show that coherent, layer-by-layer conversion of low-n intermediates to three-dimensional perovskite, quantified by a transformation index (TI), correlates with device quality.

Forced changes in a Tibetan lake ecosystem over the past millennium
Abstract Aquatic ecosystems have changed dramatically, but the relative roles of external forcings and internal atmospheric variability remain unclear. Here, using Tibetan lake ecological reconstructions and Earth system simulations, we reveal how shared external forcings shaped Tibetan Plateau limnoecology over the past millennium through two distinct pathways.
An acoustically transmissive electrochemical vector hydrophone with horn-driven velocity amplification
Abstract Low-frequency acoustic sensing is critical for underwater target detection and sound source localization, yet the sensitivity of conventional vector hydrophones is fundamentally limited by the resonance of suspended co-oscillating structures. This paper presents a transmissive electrochemical vector hydrophone with horn-driven particle velocity amplification.
Generalizable self-supervised learning for imaging flow cytometry on multi-dataset leukocyte differential
Abstract Imaging flow cytometry with supervised learning can realize high-accuracy leukocyte classification. However, since supervised learning relies on annotated cell images and this labeling process generates cell losses, current imaging flow cytometry with supervised learning cannot be used for leukocyte differential.
MEMS electrochemical angular accelerometer: a paradigm shift for attitude detection and control in rotorcraft UAVs
Abstract Angular acceleration plays a very critical role for the dynamic control of the accurate attitude estimation of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which is conventionally acquired by the differentiation of the gyroscope signals. However, this indirect derivation inherently introduces detrimental phase lags and amplifies noise, thereby compromising the control stability of flight control systems.
Effects of Lactobacillus acidophilus AC on growth, intestinal flora and metabolism of juvenile large yellow croaker ( Larimichthys crocea )
1 INTRODUCTION Aquaculture is a vital source of animal protein within the global food system and significantly contributes to a healthy diet (FAO, 2022). With the rising global demand for aquatic products, aquaculture density has increased, leading to a shift towards intensive practices. However, high-density aquaculture has caused water contamination and frequent fish infections, significantly impacting mariculture.
Stabilizing Fly Ash in Epoxy Composites via Reaction-Induced Phase Separation: Interfacial Engineering for High-Performance Multifunctional Materials
1 Introduction Epoxy resin (EP) is a high-performance polymer material characterized by high physicochemical stability, strong mechanical performance, low density and shrinkage, excellent adhesion, and superior electrical insulation. These properties endow it with extensive application potential in industrial fields such as aerospace, automotive manufacturing, electronics, and construction [1-4].
A fully integrated magnetofluidic system enabled by a wax phase barrier for automated multiplex meat adulteration detection
Abstract Meat adulteration poses serious economic, regulatory, and ethical challenges worldwide, creating an urgent need for rapid, on-site, and multiplex authentication methods. Although polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is the gold standard for nucleic acid analysis, its reliance on laboratory infrastructure and skilled operators limits field deployment, while current isothermal amplification platforms still lack sufficient automation and integration.
“Standing up” SAMs for Efficient Wide Bandgap and All-Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells
1 Introduction All-perovskite tandem solar cells (all-PSK TSCs) represent a promising next-generation photovoltaic technology, offering a clear pathway to exceed the efficiency limits of single-junction devices [1, 2]. Benefiting from cost-effective solution processing and a theoretical efficiency potential over 45% [3], all-PSK TSCs have rapidly advanced, with certified power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) now reaching 30.1% [4-7].
Plasma-Engineered LaMO 3 Perovskites as Catalysts for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction: Unlocking Potential by Oxygen Vacancy Modification
1 Introduction Green hydrogen produced via water electrolysis is considered as a promising pathway toward a low-carbon economy [1, 2]. However, the overall efficiency of water electrolysis is restricted by the anodic oxygen evolution reaction (OER), which suffers from sluggish kinetics and high reaction barriers [3]. Although noble metal Ir- and Ru-based catalysts exhibit excellent intrinsic activity, their widespread application is constrained by high cost and scarcity [4].

Outcomes of therapeutic penetrating keratoplasty and deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty in acanthamoeba keratitis: A systematic review and meta-analysis
1 INTRODUCTION Acanthamoeba keratitis (AK) is a rare but debilitating and intensely painful corneal infection that may lead to severe visual impairment (Jones et al., 1975; Ivarsen et al., 2026). It is caused by the ubiquitous free-living protozoan Acanthamoeba and is most commonly associated with poor contact lens hygiene, although ocular trauma is also a recognized risk factor (Qian et al., 2010). Blind light field image quality assessment based on deep meta-learning
In recent years, the use of deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) for light field image quality assessment (LFIQA) has gained significant attention. Despite their notable successes, it is widely accepted that training DCNNs heavily depends on a large amount of annotated data. Additionally, convolutional network-based LFIQA methods show a limitation in capturing long-range dependencies.
Ag3PO4/Bi2WO6 Heterojunction Photocatalyst with Remarkable Visible-Light-Driven Catalytic Activity
1. Introduction In recent years, semiconductor photocatalysis has gained attention as an efficient and environmentally friendly technology for tackling current environmental issues. The photocatalytic process offers several benefits, including simplicity, energy efficiency, and the elimination of organic pollutants, without producing secondary pollution [1,2,3,4].

Credit default swaps and firm risk
1 INTRODUCTION A credit default swap (CDS) is an insurance contract under which buyers make periodic payments over the contract's life to insure against credit events related to the underlying entities.1 As an efficient tool for lenders or bond investors to hedge the credit exposures associated with their investments in the firm while maintaining their control rights, the CDS market has developed quickly over the last two decades.2 The impact of this new but fast-growing credit derivative...

From man versus machine to man plus machine: The art and AI of stock analysis
Since its inception and as it rises, artificial intelligence (AI) constantly makes human beings rethink their own roles. Concerns abound that AI could replace human tasks – and increasingly skilled ones – and thus displace jobs currently performed by the better-paid and better-educated workers. This concern becomes more significant with the advent of newer and better AI technologies, including those from Google and Open AI.
