People from around the state packed the Bossier Parish Police Jury's chambers on Wednesday to oppose a pending law they say would put public bathroom users and employees at risk. If enacted, the ordinance would set fines and prison time for anyone who refuses to leave a parish-owned restroom, changing room or locker room that doesn't correspond with their sex assigned at birth as defined in state law.
