Kara Apel’s Biography

I'm a journalist at heart and discovered my passion for Web producing during college when I interned in the Web communications office at the University of South Carolina.

I am currently the morning digital producer at WSMV in Nashville. My duties include writing breaking news stories, clipping videos and managing the social media acocunts during my shift.

I came to Nashville from WRDW in Augusta, Ga., where I managed the website and social media accounts. During my time there, I handled web coverage for the 2012 and 2013 Masters Tournaments.
