ROTHBURY, MI - In a quiet corner of Michigan’s largest electronic music festival, some festivalgoers and volunteers sat and talked, away from the vibrating bass and chatter of the tens of thousands at Electric Forest. Hundreds sat on chairs and couches inside the Sober Sanctuary, a tent among the sea planted inside the Double JJ Resort for the annual event. The safe space was created for music fans seeking additional support and friendship while in the Village of Rothbury.
